In its second year, the four-door 2016 Jeep Renegade is a small vehicle that has made a big impression. Up front, the seven-slot grille and circular halogen headlamps show off the Jeep heritage, as do the large, trapezoidal wheel arches with protective rubber lips. Inside the five seat 2016 Jeep Renegade, the sense of playfulness and adventure continues with the choice of cloth or leather upholstery featuring a variety of accents, including satin chrome, orange, or red splashes of colour throughout. Rubber and plastics are durable and easy to clean, perfect for fans of the outdoors who might trek the wild elements back into the passenger cabin from time to time. Select the Cold Weather Group to add heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, along with all-season floor mats and an auxiliary interior heater - you'll appreciate it as the temperatures drop. The Renegade makes the most of its stature, providing over 1,000 millimeters of headroom, along with 1,046 millimeters of legroom in front and 892 millimeters in back. These class-leading measurements come with 524 litres of cargo room behind the rear seat, or 1,438 litres with the rear seats folded for storage. Three different Uconnect Multimedia Centres are available, with the Uconnect 6.5 NAV sitting at the top of the ladder. This system is one of the most powerful multimedia centres available in a subcompact crossover, featuring a 6.5-inch full-colour high resolution touchscreen display, navigation system, Uconnect Access system, a USB input, remote USB port, and an auxiliary input jack. Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity is available for staying in touch while keeping your attention on the road. The keyless ignition and entry makes access quick and convenient.
Class-Leading Power Trains
No other subcompact crossover can match the 2016 Jeep Renegade for the number and potency of power trains available. Select from a six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic transmission, and all models are available with four-wheel-drive capability. The off-road Trailhawk adds Jeep Active Drive Low and Selec-Terrain Traction Management to improve the Renegade's handling and traction. Renegades are rated to tow up to 900 kilograms, when properly equipped.
